With "oldsters in the nicely decorated main room and hipsters in the bar", this "popular" Great Barrington American-French gears up to both groups with two menus, one with "satisfying" casual fare, the other with more "upscale" entrees like cassoulet; yes, there’s "a din" when it gets "crowded", but it’s offset by "friendly service" and outdone by "terrific jazz" on weekends (with nightly shows in summer)".

This place has been around for a long time and for good reason. Solid and dependable in every way. We keep going back.

Now on the upper end of the pricing scale, this very dependable eatery has upgraded its menu and with good success. Very nice outside or inside dining rooms. Very serviceable wine list, with good offerings at good prices. Wide menu choices, with very good specials.

You can't beat this when going next store to the Mahaiwe theatre. The staff is outstanding. The food is innovative.

Delightful both in the main restaurant and bar where you also get jazz with your meal.

Remains a favorite, with two menus, bar and regular, both excellent, with friendly service and a great jazz scene.
